Celeborn was the maternal grandfather of Elladon, Elrohir, and Arwen, husband of Galadriel and father-in-law of Elrond. Celeborn was the co-ruler of Lorien with his wife. Celeborn later welcomed the Company of the Ring into Lóthlorien and gifted them with Elven cloaks. Three years later, Celeborn departed Middle-earth with Galadriel, Gandalf, Elrond, Bilbo and Frodo Baggins.

Early Life[]
Celeborn was most likely born in the Year of the Trees, before the sun was created by the Valar. Sometime later, Celeborn met, fell in love with and married Lady Galadriel. Together, they settle d in Lothlorien and had a daughter named Celebrian. Soon enough, their daughter married the Lord of Rivendell, Elrond. Through the two of them, they had two grandsons, Elladan and Elrohir, and a granddaughter named Arwen Undómiel. They were also once expecting Celebrian to visit them. However, their daughter never made it to Lothlorien, as her comany was waylaid by Orcs. It internally damaged Celebrian, who retreated to the Grey Havens.
