Frór was the son of Dáin I, the younger brother of Thrór, older brother of Grór, uncle of Náin and Thráin II, and great-uncle of Thorin, Dis, and Frerin and great-granduncle of Fíli and Kíli.
He perished with his father in the Grey Mountains
