Nori

Template:Thorin and Company IndividualNori is the younger half-brother of Dori and the older half-brother of the late Ori and one of the twelve companions of Thorin Oakenshield and Bilbo Baggins.

Biography[]

Nori was born approximately one hundred and four years before the Quest of Erebor. He was the brother of Dori and Ori. Nori was once a thief for a criminal but ever since athorities were after him, Nori joined his brothers during the Quest of Erebor. First, meeting Bilbo Baggins in the Shire, Nori fell on top of others, while they were crushed by Bombur, falling on the hobbit's matt.

Portrayal[]

Nori was portrayed by New Zealand actor Jed Brophy, appearing in all three of the Hobbit films, in An Unexpected Journey, The Desolation of Smaug, The Battle of the Five Armies, and the book of the same name.
Brophy has a ppeared in various Lord of the Rings film media, prior to his role of Nori, playing both Sharku and Snaga
- The son of Arwen and Aragorn seen in the former's flashforeward is Nori's actor's son, Sadwyn Brophy.
Has very few lines in the film and one of the minor characters, but also supporting like the other characters in Thorin's company.
